The world's only scrolling dive slate!. What do you get when you take an illustrator from New York and an industrial designer from NASA and put them together? The Aquasketch Minno! The most advanced dive slate on the market, the Minno is small enough to hang on a retractor, wear on your wrist, or stick in a pocket, but it holds up to 8 feet of vellum to write, sketch and even put special "applications" on!
The Vellum is erasable, reusable, replaceable and more durable than pages.Ìâ It can even be printed on!
It is easy to scroll back and forth from notes you have taken, and after your dive you can remove the vellum to be photographed or scanned before erasing. Unlike with traditional slates, you're never writing on the device itself, so in the case the surface does become damages, the vellum is cheaply replaced without scrapping the whole thing.
The frame itself is made out of poly-carbonate and stainless steel, so it's built to last. For night diving, the back plate is made of a phosphorous material which holds it's light after a torch has been shined on it. This way there is no need to constantly use a torch to view or take notes.Ìâ
Overall we think the Aquasketch Minno is a fantastic device, especially with all the add-ons which are perfect for diving professionals.
