    • The Bonex Ecos S is an updated version of the standard Ecos with a higher thrust rating, greater maximum speed and also features an emergency electronic switch and variable speed control. The Ecos S remains a great all-round scooter for all types of diving but the additional features make it ideal for cave and wreck diving where redundancy is a must.

    The Bonex Ecos S still weighs just 15kg but the thrust has been upgraded to 270N and the maximum speed has been increased to 70m per minute. The increased performance does mean the runtime is slightly reduced to 90 minutes when operated at full power but the cruising runtime remains the same at 200 minutes. A carbon tube body increases the maximum operating depth of the Ecos S to 200m.

    The scooter features a wide selection of protective cut-offs including temperature control, propeller cut-off, power monitoring, discharge protection and soft start to all help to prolong the life of the sealed motor and battery.

    Electronics wise the 5 step speed control used on the standard Ecos is replaced by a stepless variable control for refined speed control. In the event of an electronics fault, the Ecos S also features an emergency switch.

    Once plugged in the battery can take up to 5 hours to recharge using the standard charger supplied
