Aqualung Outlaw BCD

The Aqualung Outlaw is a BCD for the minimalist diver that wants a stripped back design, streamlined harness and an ultralight BCD that weighs just 1.8 kg. This BCD is for someone who wants ultimate freedom of movement and the purest form of diving.

The Outlaw has a clever modular design that allows the straps and bladder to be removed and replaced very quickly, giving the option to swap out individual components to create the perfect fit. In fact, you can create up to 27 different sizes.

The harness features webbing loops rather than metal D-rings to help reduce weight with a number of daisy chain loops on each shoulder and each side of the waist band. The straps are fitted with simple but efficient adjustable quick release buckles to aid donning and doffing.

The BCD is fitted with a 25lb (ca. 11 kg) bladder that provides 111 N of lift and features an elasticated retractor system to pull in the sides of the bladder as it deflates to help keep you as streamlined as possible. The Outlaw is fitted with Aqualung's GripLock Tank Band for quick and easy fitting to a cylinder. The band provides a set and forget design that only needs adjusting when switching to a different diameter cylinder.

The Outlaw is compatible with an optional quick release weight system that uses the SureLock II locking mechanism that allow up to 9 kg of ditchable weight to be added to the BCD. Optional trim pockets that hold up to 2.25 kg can also be added to the tank band to aid balance and orientation in the water.
