    • The Mares XR Soft Backplate provides a softer, flexible and lighter weight alternative to a standard steel or aluminium backplate. The Soft Backplate still provides most if not all the mounting point, holes and slots available on a metal backplate.

    • 1200D bulletproof Ballistic Nylon
    • Polyphrene hydro-drainage comfort padding 4 Slots
    • 2 each upper and 2 lower slots accommodate nylon cylinder bands to strap single cylinder directly to the plate
    • 5 double slides bars specially positioned for the optimal fitting of the harness webbing and the crotch strap 10 holes
    • 2 centred holes at the top and 2 at the bottom offer a range of height adjustments for the buoyancy cells.
    • 2 mid perimeter holes along either side and 4 holes along the bottom allow for the mounting of accessories and side-mount butt plate 4 D-Rings
    • Ultra light
