This Apeks XL4+ regulator and Aqua Lung Rogue BCD package is perfect for the travelling diver. It is light and compact making it easier to fit into your luggage, takes up less of luggage weight allowance, has a minimalist yet comfortable fit and still packs an integrated weight system.
The Apeks XL4+is a compact and versatile regulator based on the original XL4, but it has been upgraded with an additional high pressure port which makes using an analogue and wireless transmitter so much easier. The XL4+ is a lightweight regulator, but it is also certified for cold water use so it also a great regulator for all environments.
The Apeks XL4 Octopus is the perfect match for the XL4+ regulator and continues the light yet high performance theme.
The Aqua Lung Rogue is a minimalist BCD with a modular design that makes it ideal for divers that struggle to find a BCD that fits them well. The Rogue has all the features any advanced diver would need but without the fuss that can unnecessarily bulk up a BCD.
The modular design of the Rogue allows shoulder straps, waist bands and backplate components to be swapped out for a customised fit, allowing up to 27 different size combinations to suit pretty much any diver. These pre-configured sizes provide a good starting point but if you wanted to build a completely custom BCD from scratch, just give us a call, and we'll help you out.
The Rogue has a 15L/35lb lift capacity, is fitted with Aqua Lung's SureLock II weights, has two folding pockets, and four stainless steel D-rings.

The Apeks Double gauge console combines a submersible pressure (contents) gauge and a depth gauge housed in a specially designed case. The console clearly displays your pressure and depth readings for easy viewing underwater and the dials have a long phosphorescent effect for better reading in poor visibility conditions. The SPG provides accurate pressure readings with a range of 360 bar and the depth gauge reads up to 70m.

FIRST STAGE
- Compact machined 1st stage based on the expedition tested Apeks DS4 platform.
- Break through, innovative over-moulded first-stage end cap & environmental diaphragm helps prevent ice build-up that can cause first stage free flow in extreme circumstances. Also protects the first stage from impact damage.
- Large surface area heat exchanger diaphragm clamp helps increase the gas temperature inside the 1st stage, resulting in improved cold water performance.
- Unique over-balanced diaphragm design as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a faster rate than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
SECOND STAGE
- Compact and lightweight 2nd stage improves comfort and helps reduce jaw fatigue on long duration dives.
- High performance pneumatically balanced lever operated poppet valve.
- Large, over moulded self-flushing and controllable purge button.
- Ergonomic Venturi lever is easy to use and locate.
- White flexible nylon braided hose has better cold water performance than traditional rubber hose.
