A women's BCD provides a better, more comfortable fit and there is no better known BCD than the Aqualung Pearl in this scuba diving package. Combine it with a cold water rated Leg3nd regulator set, and you've got a package that will serve you well anywhere you want to dive.
The Aqualung Leg3nd Stage 3 Regulator Set includes the new high performing Leg3nd regulator and a matching Leg3nd Octopus for excellent cold water reliability, smooth breathing and style. The first stage is fitted with an Auto Closure Device (ACD) that effectively prevents contamination and water from entering the first stage when the regulator isn't pressurised on a cylinder. Great for between dives.
The second stage features a venturi control with a 'soft touch' grip that controls the flow of air within the second stage, either directing it straight to the mouthpiece for maximum efficiency or forcing it to flow back towards the diaphragm to assist with closing the valve, effectively providing pre-dive and dive modes.
The Aqualung Pearl is a wrap-around jacket style BCD specifically designed for the female diver and offers a more comfortable fit and better stability due to an optimised harness and shorter torso length.
The Pearl BCD uses the SureLock II integrated weight system to help distribute weight around the BCD in a safe and secure way. The pull to release style mechanism eliminates the need to fiddle with buckle fastenings if the weights need to be dumped in an emergency. Trim weight pockets are also provided on the rear of most sizes. M & L sizes are fitted with 5lb trim pockets, S has 3lb trim pockets and the XS is not fitted with any due to space restrictions.

The Aqualung Two Gauge Console is well-designed and compact with a cylinder pressure gauge and a depth gauge on the front of the console and a handy slate on the rear. Both of the gauge faces are luminescent for better visibility in low light conditions.

FIRST STAGE

- Deep ribs create a large heat exchange surface area that helps to prevent ice forming on the mechanism (+30% vs Glacia / +70% vs Legend 2)
- The new overmoulded cap delays ice forming over the external diaphragm
- Auto-Balanced (also known as Over-Balanced)
- Progressive increase of the working pressure to maintain optimum breathing efforts: Depending on the diver's depth, the working pressure of the first stage is automatically elevated to counteract the increased breathing air density
- Ergonomically shaped DIN and YOKE screws made of a bi-material Soft Grip surface provide a better hold when installing or removing the first stage especially with cold hands
- Channelled YOKE screw to prevent water retention.
- Specialised ACD Dust cap attached to the regulator body to protect the inlet fitting and the ACD system from impacts or damage
