Atomic M1 Regulator with Octopus & Free Console Package

This Atomic Regulator Package includes the high performing M1 regulator, a matching M1 Octopus and a free Apeks double gauge console.

The Atomic M1 blends a mix of conventional and exotic metals to create a regulator with the performance of the Atomic T3 but nitrox ready up to 50% and oxygen safe up to 80% straight out of the box if you follow some special guidelines. The first stage uses chrome-plated marine brass for the body but uses Monel for key internal components. Monel is an alloy composed mostly of nickel and copper that is corrosion and acid-resistant. Certain versions of the alloy can actually withstand a fire in pure oxygen, hence the high oxygen tolerance straight out of the box. Monel is also fantastic in subzero temperatures with excellent mechanical properties.

Built on the same design platform as the Z2 and T3, the M1 Octopus shares the same features but is factory rated for oxygen-enriched mixtures up to 80%. The front cover is unique in that there are no openings in front of the cove to help prevent the regulator from turning on if subjected to wave surge or strong currents. The valve body is Zirconium plated brass for fast thermal transfer with a heat sink feature to reduce the possibility of freezing in cold water. The remaining critical metal components of the demand valve (lever, orifice and spring) are all made of titanium and are completely corrosion-proof.

Finally, the Apeks Double gauge console combines a submersible pressure gauge (SPG) and a depth gauge housed in a specially designed case. The console clearly displays your pressure and depth readings for easy viewing underwater and the dials have a long phosphorescent effect for better reading in poor visibility conditions. The SPG provides accurate pressure readings with a range of 360 bar. The depth gauge reads up to 70m.
