Scubapro Universal Conversion Kit INT/DIN 300 Bars.

Over the last few years we have noticed a huge increase in divers choosing to use DIN fittings as apposed to A-Clamp due to the thread physically screwing into the cylinder instead of simply clamping on top, Technically giving a better overall connection.

If you were doing technical /Cave or even Wreck diving the DIN connection is advantageous as there is a possibility you could dislodge the A-Clamp (also known as INT, International fitting or yoke) connection if you were to accidentally knock it against something (these things happen). The O-rings on the A-clamp first stage are stored in the insert of the cylinder as apposed to the actual first stage itself and as most people store there tanks in the Garage or in colder environments the O-rings are more likely to degrade/ fail, or as in the case of some liveaboards in Egypt using agricultural style O-rings which when left in 50 Deg heat had a tendency to blow just as you got to 20 meters!

Please note this is not like the DIN to Yoke adapters and they have to be fitted by a certified Scubapro technician using the correct tools and torque (we can obviously do this for you)
